Territorial Issues of Transition

This course is about the consequences, at the local level, of a transition toward the increasing used of materials and goods that are at the basis of a greener or browner economy. We are going to analyze how the transition toward electric vehicule, solar panel, wind turbine matter to a transition toward a new economy as well as the negative impact of these new products. Cities and regions that welcome the extractive industries are going to be scrutinized at the local level in China, Chile and France.
