This course aims at understanding the basic scientific mechanisms causing global warming and its consequences. In the light of this global problem, we study the cost of the energy transition and the carbon pricing. These two topics are taught in a flipped classroom after viewing Christian Gollier's lecture at the Collège de France. This course will be followed by a 3-hour lecture by Professor Marc Fleurbaey.
