    • Overview & Mandatory Requirements

Welcome to our LPE Resource Banks! Across the semester, you will contribute ready-to-use teaching materials (picture books, songs, games, videos, and tasks) to build a shared bank of primary English resources.

Assessment Rule: All-or-Nothing (No Partial Credit)

Participation in these databases is all-or-nothing. To earn credit for a cycle's database component, you must complete 100% of the submission and review requirements:

      • Cycle 1 (3 Databases Total): Submit 3 full entries (1 per database) + write 9 peer comments (3 per database).

Incomplete databases, missing comments, or generic single-sentence feedback will result in zero credit for that activity.

      General Submission Rules:

      1. Originality & Duplicate Check: Search the target database before posting to ensure your resource hasn't already been submitted. Duplicate entries will not receive credit—if a book, song, or game is already listed, you must select a different resource.

      2. Complete All Required Fields: Fill out all skill options, keywords, key expressions, and delivery ideas thoroughly. Include working links or file attachments where applicable.

Peer Review Guidelines (3 Quality Comments per Database): Your 3 comments per database must offer genuine pedagogical value. Each comment should include at least one of the following:

      • An Alternative Adaptation: How you would adapt or lead this resource for a different level, age group, or classroom setting.

      • An Extension Suggestion: A complementary activity (flashcard game, follow-up chant, worksheet, craft, etc) that pairs well with their entry.

    • Cycle 1 Resource Bank:  All About Me

      Objective:

Contribute one high-quality, ready-to-use teaching resource (picture book, nursery rhyme, puppet routine, TPR game, video, or art task) aimed at helping Cycle 1 young learners introduce themselves or talk about identity and feelings in English.

      Submission Guidelines:

      1. Complete All Fields: Fill out all submission fields accurately, including direct links or attached files.

      2. Target Language Precision: List specific, child-friendly keywords and natural teacher/pupil expressions. Avoid generic summaries.

      3. Skills Alignment: Select one Main Skill Focus and one Secondary Skill Focus from the Cycle 1 dropdown menus.

Peer Review Instructions : After submitting your entry, you must review and comment on 3 entries submitted by your peers.

In the comments section of each entry you review, leave a constructive comment that includes at least one of the following:

      • An Alternative Adaptation: Share one concrete idea for how you would adapt or lead this resource in a Cycle 1 classroom to target the same skills.

      • A Extension Resource Suggestion: Suggest one related resource (a complementary song, puppet routine, or flashcard game, etc) that pairs well with this entry to reinforce the same learning objectives.

(Note: Generic comments like "Great resource!" will not receive credit.)
