EXPECTATIONS FOR STUDENTS

During this semester, you will learn to speak French :


At the end of the semester, after these 40 hours of classes, you should be able to :


- Know how to say hello in French.

- Pronounce the sounds of French correctly and be able to write them when you hear them.

- Know the main verbs.

- Know how to conjugate all types of verbs in the present tense.

- Know vocabulary to talk about tenses, days, the year.

- Be able to fill out a form in French and give directions.

- Use negation and interrogation in sentences.

- Know how to talk about oneself, one's tastes, one's life.

- Being able to talk about money, ordering in a restaurant, being able to talk about one's culinary tastes.

- Savoir dire bonjour en français.

- Prononcer correctement les sons du français et pouvoir les écrire en les entendant.
