Course description: Students will gain knowledge on environmental applications of microbial metabolism. It will be addressed by some examples of biodegradation and biotransformation of organic and metallic compounds, the application of the microbial metabolic capacities as an environmental tool, and bio-depollution and / or bioremediation tools.
