English for sciences

In this course, we will practice reading, writing, listening, and speaking in English, which are important skills that you need to develop as a computer science student (a lot of the research done in this field is published in English, and learning this language is an important tool to help you succeed). 

We will also work on developing and refining critical reading comprehension and language skills/strategies using popular science texts and academic articles. You will improve your comprehension, fluency, and confidence in spoken and written English through individual practice and regular participation in discussions, presentations, and group work.
