Objectives

• Prepare students at an advanced level for the scientific and technological challenges of digital industries and enterprises
• Develop research skills to engage in quality research
• Prepare for leading positions in R&D departments of private and public organisations

At the end of the programme, students will be able to

• Identify and analyse the functional and non-functional requirements of digital organisations
• Design multi-dimensional architectures integrating Internet of Everything entities: IoT, data, people, services, cloud, robots, 3D printers
• Develop a proof-of-concept system integrating these dimensions
• Design and run experiments to test and evaluate Industry 4.0 systems
• Review and interpret the scientific literature and innovations in computer science
• Carry out a research project, from the state of the art to solving scientific and technological challenges
