As the international IT community communicates largely through the medium of English, the goal of this course is to improve your communication skills in English by practicing presentations skills in English as well as completeing exercises in reading comprehension, vocabulary and listening comprehension. This course will focus in the first part of the semester on scientific and technical skills related to the student’s field of study with an emphasis on communication and presentation in English. The second part of the semester will deal with work-related items such as CV writing and job interviews in English.
